Import a Sales Navigator search

Run a Sales Navigator search into a list, up to the daily ceiling.

Sales Navigator is the highest-volume way to import: 2,500 leads a day against 80 from standard search.

Set the search up

  1. Open Sales Navigator.
  2. Click the Lead tab.
  3. Apply your filters and run the search.

The 2,500 ceiling

However many results the search claims, LinkedIn only serves the first 2,500 — 100 pages of 25. The import stops there automatically.

Keep each search under 2,500 by filtering harder, and run several. See why a Sales Navigator import stops at 2,500 leads.

Import it

With the extension installed, the import module appears on the results page.

  1. Click Export to LinkedLeads.
  2. Name the list — you can rename it later.
  3. Click Export leads to LinkedLeads.

While it runs

The list appears under Leads immediately. You can run more searches and queue more imports; they are worked through one after another.

Depending on the size of the list this takes anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. That pacing is deliberate — see why an import takes time.

When it finishes

Click the list name to see the profiles. Before doing anything else with them, filter on Match — Sales Navigator returns a meaningful proportion of people who do not actually fit your filters. See what “match” means.
