Use the advanced filters

Narrow a list down before you spend a single message on it.

Advanced filters narrow a list you have already imported, without re-running the search. Open any list under Leads and the filters are down the left-hand side.

They stack, so you can arrive at something like people at companies over 200 employees, in their current role more than a year, not already in a pipeline in a few clicks.

Filters about the import itself

Match — whether the lead actually fits the filters of the Sales Navigator search they came from. Sales Navigator returns up to about 30% off-target profiles, so this is worth applying first. Sales Navigator imports only. See what “match” means.

Duplicates in other lists — whether this person is already in another of your lists. Use it to clean up duplicates.

Added to inbox or pipeline — whether they are already being worked. Leads that are get an icon beside the name and a shaded row, so you can see them without filtering.

Filters about your relationship

Relationship and conversation — whether they are a connection, and whether a conversation already exists. Four options: is a connection, is not a connection, has a conversation, no conversation.

Filters about the person

LinkedIn account details — Open Profile, has a profile photo, Open to Work, Premium, and the negation of each.

Job title, profile headline, skills, last name and language — each matches on whether the field contains or does not contain a string.

Location — narrows by region, city or country, by string match.

Time in current role and time in company — greater than or less than a figure you set.

Filters about the company

Company name — include or exclude specific companies by string.

Industry — by string.

Number of employees — greater than or less than.

Company age — greater than or less than.
